Two seasons ago, quarterback Vad Lee left Georgia Tech and landed at James Madison. Usually, when a player leaves a big conference like the ACC to move to a FCS program, they relatively go unnoticed for the rest of their career. Lee is a completely different story.
According to College Football Talk, Lee is doing rather well as he is now in his second season with the Dukes. On Monday, Lee was named the Colonial Athletic Association’s Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the season opener against Morehead State.
Lee played only two and a half quarters, but he racked up a nice 297 yards and three touchdowns through the air as well as 105 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
