Georgia Tech was to face Duke Tuesday night without legendary Blue Devils coach Mike Krzyzewski. The school released a statement Tuesday that Krzyzewski, 68, did not travel with the team Monday to Atlanta as he felt under the weather and was taken to Duke University Hospital. His physicians advised him to stay home.
Tuesday’s game at McCamish Pavilion was the first he had missed since 1995, when he took a leave of absence following back surgery. In March 2014, he was taken to the hospital after feeling light-headed after a loss at Wake Forest.
