Georgia Tech won’t end its season the way it had hoped, but it can claim an achievement by winning at Miami Saturday. The Yellow Jackets would become the first team to beat Miami at Sun Life Stadium in coach Paul Johnson’s tenure.
Tech has lost its past three games there, in 2009, 2011 and 2013. The Jackets’ most recent road win over the Hurricanes was in 2007, coach Chan Gailey’s final season. Tech did beat Mississippi State in the same stadium in the Orange Bowl last December.

“It’s something we haven’t done in Miami,” cornerback Chris Milton said.
