Wilmington, NC-based Star News Online reported today that Bobby Lutz, associate head coach at N.C. State for the past four seasons, will be leaving the Wolfpack to join Josh Pastner's staff at Georgia Tech. If true, it would make Lutz the first assistant hired by Pastner for his initial staff on the Flats.
The 58-year-old Lutz has spent the last five seasons in Raleigh as an assistant to Mark Gottfried, and as his top assistant for the last four. Lutz would bring over 20 years of head coaching experience to the staff, after largely successful tenures with both Pfeiffer (NAIA) and Charlotte.
