The No. 8 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish have already taken a slight detour on their (hopeful) journey toward the College Football Playoff.
Quarterback Malik Zaire is sidelined with a fractured ankle, and sophomore DeShone Kizer is now in the driver’s seat. And so far, Kizer looks pretty good. After Zaire left the game against Virginia with the ankle injury, Kizer stepped in and completed 8-of-12 passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the No. 14 ranked Georgia Tech Yellowjackets are coming off of a 65-10 victory against Tulane.
They’ll square off on Saturday, and the ACC Digital Network is very excited about that matchup.
