3 Tech backs get their first TDs

After a redshirt year spent shuffling positions, Qua Searcy appears to have found a home at A-back for Georgia Tech.

Searcy, a redshirt freshman, scored two touchdowns, the first of his collegiate career, in the first half Saturday against Tulane. He took an option pitch 13 yards for a touchdown to open the scoring and then caught a 17-yard pass from quarterback Justin Thomas that put the Yellow Jackets ahead 28-7 at halftime.
