Although it is not 100% certain that Florida transfer Antonneous Clayton will be trying to get through the Clemson offensive line on August 29th, it seems likely that he will receive a hardship waiver from the NCAA due to a family medical situation. This would be a godsend for the Jackets defense (and offense), as no returning defensive linemen from the past season had a sack or tackle for loss.
Coming out of high school from Dooly County, Clayton was ranked as the number 27 overall recruit in the nation and the number 4 overall recruit from Georgia.
