*GSU will take on the Auburn Tigers on Feb. 1. Waco, Texas.- The Georgia State women's tennis team took home their first victory of the year 6-1 over McNeese State in Waco, Texas. Aleksandra Stromova notched her first collegiate singles victory (6-3, 6-2) in the effort.
The Panthers got out to a quick start as Chivu and freshman, Angel Carnery, took their doubles match 6-4 on court one.
