ATLANTA – Georgia State women’s golfers Emma Berlin and Petra Duran were honored on Tuesday by being named Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars.
Both were honored for the first time for their work on the course and in the classroom.
A total of 1,097 women’s collegiate golfers were recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
Berlin, who earned President’s List honors during both semesters over the last year, played in the first six tournaments as a freshman before an illness held her out until the conference championship.
