• Georgia State travels to Texas for Thanksgiving to play Rice Friday afternoon. Friday’s contest continues GSU’s four-game road stretch against C-USA teams.

• The Panthers played FAU and FIU last week, winning both games. After playing Rice, the Panthers will then travel to MTSU to face the Blue Raiders on Nov. 29.

• Head coach Gene Hill’s first season at GSU is off to a good start.
