MONROE, La.-Led by 19 points from Kane Williams, Georgia State earned a 77-69 win over ULM at Fant-Ewing Coliseum on Saturday afternoon.
Williams went 13-of-14 from the free throw line as Georgia State (16-9, 9-5 Sun Belt) went 22-of-25 from the charity stripe. The junior added six rebounds as the Panthers snapped a two-game losing streak.
ULM (6-17, 2-12 Sun Belt) lost for the 10th-straight time despite four players in double figures led by Tyree White who just missed a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. Youry White finished with a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds off the bench for the Warhawks.
