ATLANTA - Kalynn Hicks had a 3-for-3 day at the plate for Georgia State Saturday, but ULM defeated the Panthers 6-2 to even the series Saturday at Bob Heck Field.
Georgia State and ULM will play the rubber match Sunday at 1 p.m. Following the game, Georgia State will honors its five seniors as Sunday marks the final home game of the season.
The Panthers scratched and clawed their way back multiple times Saturday, but ULM made play after play to keep the Panthers out of striking distance.
ULM took a 4-0 lead in the third inning as it wasn't until the bottom of the fourth that GSU finally got on the board.
