ATLANTA – Georgia State volleyball head coach Sally Polhamus announced Thursday the addition of Hanna Weiland and Katelyn Creger to the 2016 squad. Weiland is an Atlanta native and won the 2014 GHSA 4-A state championship with Marist School. Before appearing in 22 matches for UNC Asheville in 2015, Creger led Creekview High School to three consecutive state playoff appearances.
As a setter, Weiland lettered all four seasons at Marist under head coach Kendall Crum. She helped the War Eagles to the Final Four each season during her tenure and led the team to back-to-back State Finals appearances in 2013 and 2014.
