ATLANTA- Grad Student Annika Van Gunst and junior Brooke Weiner earned CCSA Pair of the Week as announced by the conference Tuesday afternoon. The duo produced a 4-0 record on the weekend, helping the Panthers to a 3-1 weekend at the UNF Beach Invitational.
In their first match of the weekend, Van Gunst and Weiner dropped the first game to LSU before rallying back to win the next two games and clinching a 3-2 win for the Panthers over the then sixth ranked Tigers. The pair would follow the performance up with a convincing two set win in GSU’s 5-0 sweep of Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
