ATLANTA -- Georgia State shortstop Will Mize and pitcher Chad Treadway were named to the Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American team, powered by Diamond Sports.
Mize and Treadway were part of a strong freshman class for the Panthers in head coach Brad Stromdahl's first season, helping Georgia State to a 9-7 start in the abbreviated season.
"As a coaching staff and organization we are so happy they have been recognized as Freshman All Americans," Stromdahl said. "Will and Chad, along with many other players, contributed to what was an outstanding start for their first year playing college baseball.
