ATLANTA -- Georgia State's indoor track and field team competed at both the Samford Invite and Music City Challenge Feb. 14-15 in Birmingham and Nashville, respectively.
In Nashville, two school records fell at the Music City Challenge hosted by Vanderbilt. Angela Alonso bested her own record in the Mile with a time of 4:48.21. In the 3,000m, Lotte Meyberg broke a 15-year old record held prevously by Jen Feenstra (9:41.06). Meyberg finished fourth at 9:40.20.
In Birmingham, the Panthers had some strong performances in the jumps.
Sophomore Na'ilah Moore placed second in the Triple Jump with a season's best mark of 11.
