Joe Todesco joined the women's soccer staff as an assistant coach in January 2017, head coach Ed Joyce announced Monday. He comes to Georgia State after serving as the head coach of the Atlanta Fire ENCL club team.
Tedesco has a wealth of experience at both the collegiate and the club level, coaching at three universities and one club team. At the collegiate level, Tedesco has coaching experience from San Diego State University, Point Loma Nazarene University, and Old Dominion. While at San Diego State, the 2009 Aztecs won the Mountain West Conference Championship with a record of 14-3-3 and made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament before falling to UCLA.
