ATLANTA -- After one of the best seasons in program history, Georgia State receiver Jamari Thrash was recognized as an honorable mention All-America by Phil Steele.
The first-team All-Sun Belt Conference selection produced one of the top receiving seasons in GSU history with a league-leading 1,122 receiving yards, which is No. 10 in FBS. He is No. 3 in the Sun Belt with seven touchdowns and No. 2 with 18.4 yards per catch.
Only nine-year NFL veteran Albert Wilson had more receiving yards in a Georgia State uniform with 1,177 in 2013. Thrash, Wilson and Penny Hart have had 1,000-yard seasons for the Panthers.
