ATLANTA -- Georgia State defensive end Terry Thomas has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District® football team for the second straight year, announced Thursday by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. As a first-team Academic All-District® selection, Thomas is now eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-America® football team.
The senior from McDonough, Ga., maintains a 3.4 GPA while majoring in biological science. Enrolled in Georgia State's Honors College, he has been named to the Dean's List and the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll.
