BOONE, N.C. – Head coach Brett Surrency earned career win No. 100 as Georgia State men's soccer cruised to a 4-0 shutout victory over rival Georgia Southern in Wednesday's opening round of the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Tournament at the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex. Surrency became the second head coach in program history to reach the century mark in career wins, joining Scottie O'Neill who coached the Panthers from 1976-86.
GSU improved to 11-4-3 overall with the victory, the fourth consecutive season Surrency has led the Panthers to 11 or more wins. Georgia State will take on top-seed Central Arkansas (10-6-1) in the SBC Tournament semifinals 4 p.
