ATLANTA-Georgia State moved passed the mid-point of summer practice this week as head coach Ron Hunter and his staff prepare the team for the upcoming season. The team will finish practice per NCAA rules the last week of July before heading to the Dominican Republic for an eight-day trip with Samaritan’s Feet.
“It’s been a really good summer so far,” Hunter said. “The guys are pushing themselves to their limits both on the court and in the weight room. None of the returners were happy with the way last season played out and the newcomers want a taste of the NCAA tournament.
