CLINTON, S.C. -- Dylan Strickland and Luke Boynton homered as Georgia State scored nine runs in the first three innings en route to a 10-5 win at Presbyterian Sunday, clinching the series for the Panthers.
Georgia State (8-4) has won seven of its last eight games.
Strickland, the sophomore from Loganville (Ga.) High School, homered for the second straight day and went 5-for-5 with four RBI on the afternoon. His three-run homer in the first inning helped the Panthers jump out to a 4-0 lead.
Boynton, the junior first baseman, hit a two-run homer in the third inning to extend the Panthers' advantage to 9-0.
