TAMPA, Fla. – Georgia State’s softball team lost a pair of games Saturday at the Wilson DeMarini Classic hosted by USF in Tampa, Fla.
The Panthers lost to No. 2 Florida in the first game of the day. The second-ranked Gators jumped on top early and defeated the Panthers 11-0 in five innings.
The Panthers took on Illinois State later in the day in what turned into an exciting contest between the Panthers and the Redbirds.
GSU took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second when freshman Skylar Mosel picked up her first career hit, an RBI-single.
