Simonds Named to Lou Henson Mid-Season Watch List

ATLANTA – Georgia State sophomore D’Marcus Simonds added to his list of awards and recognition on Friday being named to the Lou Henson Award mid-season Watch List.

The Lou Henson Award is presented annually to the nation’s top Division I mid-major player.

Simonds is currently averaging 21.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. He has scored in double-figures in 35-straight games dating back to last season.

His points per game total would set a school record if the season ended today. Simonds 21.2 points per game scoring average is among the top 25 in the NCAA and his total points scored (382) ranks among the top 15.
