SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Earning a second-straight road victory, the Georgia State men's soccer team scored a 2-1 win over USC Upstate on Saturday night at County University Soccer Stadium.
Freshman Ethan Sassine got Georgia State (2-1) on the board in the 28th minute with his first goal of the season which came off an assist by Justin Guest.
The Panthers went into the half leading 1-0, but quickly double the margin as senior Matthew Fearnley scored his first goal of the season 11 minutes into the second half.
