ATLANTA – For the second-straight week, Georgia State men's soccer senior George Proctor earned Sun Belt Conference weekly honors as announced by the league office on Wednesday morning. It marked the third time Proctor has been honored this season and the 10th time this season that a member of the team has been recognized.
Proctor garnered Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors after scoring his second goal of the season and helping Georgia State secure a huge 1-0 win over first-place Central Arkansas on Friday afternoon.
For a second-straight game, Proctor scored from deep, this time in the 86th minute which proved to be the game-winner after 85 minutes of scoreless soccer and came from about 15 yards outside the box.
