ATLANTA— Georgia State head coach Shawn Elliott has announced the hiring of cornerbacks coach Cory Peoples and inside linebackers coach Brian Landis to the Panthers' staff.
Peoples is a former NFL player with more than 10 years of college coaching experience, most recently serving as cornerbacks coach at Georgia Southern.
Landis won 88 percent of his games in three seasons as the head coach at Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington, Ky., after previously serving on the staffs at Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky and Georgetown (Ky.) College.
"We are excited about adding two outstanding coaches to our defensive staff," Elliott said.
