ATLANTA -- Georgia State had its four-game winning streak snapped in a 12-6 loss to Georgia Tech Wednesday at the GSU Baseball Complex.
Junior Brandon Bell, who made his first start in right field, was the highlight for the Panthers (8-4) with a 3-for-3 night including a three-run homer.
The two teams were nearly even in the hit column as Tech had 12 hits to GSU's 11, but the Panthers hurt themselves by issuing a season-high 12 walks.
Georgia Tech (9-3) got on the scoreboard first on Tristan English's two-out, two-run home run in the first inning off GSU starter Bryan White (0-1), but the Panthers answered immediately.
