ATLANTA-Georgia State outscored Texas State 18-4 over the final six minutes to top the Bobcats 81-69 on Saturday afternoon at the GSU Sports Arena.
Georgia State (8-3, 2-0 Sun Belt) won for the seventh-straight time and 11th-straight at home dating back to last season. The seven-game streak is tied for the seventh-longest in program history, while the 11-straight at home is the fourth-longest streak.
Freshman Joe Jones III just missed a double-double with a career-high tying eight points while pulling down a career-high 11 rebounds. Redshirt-junior Corey Allen and redshirt-sophomore Justin Roberts led the Panthers with 17 points each while junior Kane Williams added 12.
