ATLANTA -- Georgia State piled up 335 yards rushing, including 100-yard games by Jamyest Williams and Tucker Gregg, and the GSU defense forced a school-record five turnovers as the Panthers defeated Georgia Southern for the third straight year with a 41-33 victory Saturday at Center Parc Stadium.
Georgia State (2-4, 1-1 Sun Belt) improved to 6-3 in the all-time series against Georgia Southern (3-3, 0-2).
Williams and Gregg each topped the 100-yard mark for the second straight game, combining for 240 yards and three touchdowns. Williams finished with a career-high 129 yards, including 6-yard touchdown run, while Gregg had 111 yards and two scores, topping the 2,000-yard mark for his career.
