Georgia State football is well represented in the National Football League as the regular season gets underway.
Brandon Wright, Georgia State's punter and placekicker the last four years, is the latest Panther to earn an NFL spot as he made the practice squad for the Jacksonville Jaguars after signing with the team as a free agent last spring.
Penny Hart, the Panthers' standout receiver from 2015-18, could see his first NFL game action this Sunday in Atlanta. Hart was elevated to Seattle's active roster earlier this week, and the Seahawks open the season against the Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
