ATLANTA-Georgia State rallied from a six-point deficit with 91 seconds to play and then topped Charlotte in overtime 81-78 on Wednesday afternoon at the GSU Sports Arena.
Redshirt-sophomore Justin Roberts knocked down two 3-pointers in the final minute and redshirt-junior Corey Allen hit two big shots with less than two minutes to play in overtime to give Georgia State (4-3) its third-straight win and eighth-straight victory at home dating back to last season.
Allen finished with a team-high 17 points, while Roberts contributed 16 points, four rebounds and three steals. Junior Kane Williams filled up the box score with 12 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
