Panthers to Face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in CIT Opener

ATLANTA-For the fourth time in six years under head coach Ron Hunter, Georgia State will make a postseason appearance as the Panthers will travel to face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET at the Dugan Wellness Center in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament.

It will mark the second appearance for the Panthers in the CIT. Georgia State accepted a bid to the event in Hunter’s first season, 2011-12, after a 21-win regular season. The Panthers opened with a win over Tennessee Tech that year before falling at Mercer in the Round of 16.

The game will be streamed on Facebook Live.
