BOSTON -- Georgia State's first road game of the season proved to be a tough afternoon as the cold-shooting Panthers struggled throughout a 66-46 loss at Northeastern Sunday at Matthews Arena.
"No excuses," head coach Jonas Hayes said. "Northeastern was the more physical and determined team, and they took it to us. This was another growth opportunity, to see how we handled the adversity of going on the road. Success and progress is not a straight line, there are a lot of dips and curls, so we will keep putting one foot in front of the other and getting better.
