AUBURN, Ala. – Georgia State’s softball team went 1-1 on Day 2 of the Tiger Invite, defeating Delaware 14-2 and falling to Saint Francis 8-1 at the Jane B. Moore Field.
Game 1: Georgia State 14, Delaware 2 (Five Innings)
Georgia State scored 14 runs on 12 hits to take down Delaware for the second day in a row. The Panthers took advantage of seven errors by the Blue Hens. Baylee Sexton, Ivie Drake, Arden Jobe and Brenna Skalski each had multi-hit games. Seven different hitters for GSU recorded a hit in the contest.
