ATLANTA- Georgia State concludes regular season play against in-state rival, Georgia Southern, in a pair of critical Sun Belt matches. Georgia State will travel to Statesboro for Tuesday's match, before hosting the Eagles for Friday's regular season finale. Both matches have a 6:30 p.m. start time. The winner of each match will earn their school a half point in the Rivalry Series standings.
Last season each team won in front of their home crowds. The middle blockers Madelyn Ott and Meisheia Griffin stole the show during the contest at GSU Sports Arena. Ott downed 15 kills and Griffin blocked 11 attempts.
