MONROE, La. – Georgia State scored a record-setting 47-37 win over previously Sun Belt-unbeaten UL Monroe on Saturday night at Malone Stadium. The 47 points scored by the Panthers were the most-ever against a fellow-FBS program.
Senior quarterback Conner Manning led a Georgia State offense that finished with a school-record 670 total yards. Manning went 26-for-35 for a career-high 446 yards, tying a school-record with four touchdown passes.
His primary target was once again redshirt-sophomore Penny Hart who tied his own school record with 11 catches for a school-record 190 yards. He finished the game with three touchdown catches.
