ATLANTA – Georgia State blasted 14 runs on 10 hits to run-rule Kennesaw State 14-4 in seven innings at the GSU Baseball Complex on Tuesday and move to 6-1, their best start since 2011.

Current head coach Brad Stromdahl was an assistant coach for that GSU squad.

Four Panthers tallied two hits each, led by William Maginnis, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI's, including his bases-loaded, "walk off" double to secure the run-rule victory in the seventh inning.

Michael Maginnis and Nick Garagozzo each went 2-for-3 with two RBI's, and Jae Williams went 2-for-4 with two RBI's on a two-run homer in the third.
