TROY, Ala. – Georgia State pushed its win streak to four with an 85-70 win over Troy at Trojan Arena Saturday evening.
Entering the day, Georgia State sat in fourth in the Sun Belt standings, one game behind the third-place Trojans. With the win, GSU (14-9, 8-4 SBC) and Troy (17-6, 8-4 SBC) are tied for third with the Panthers owning the tiebreaker due to their regular season sweep over the Trojans.
Allison Johnson was one of four Panthers that finished in double figures. Johnson led all scorers with 19 points on 7-of-15 shooting. Walnatia Wright totaled 18 points with 10 rebounds, her seventh double-double of the season.
