ATLANTA - Georgia State scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to take a late lead against Hofstra Sunday, but the Pride came out on top 10-8 in eight innings at the Bob Heck Softball Complex.
With Hofstra leading 5-4 in the bottom of the sixth, Remington Hasty launched a three-run homer to left field, giving GSU its first lead of the game.
Jess Neadow added a solo homer to put GSU on top 8-5 heading into the seventh. Hofstra pushed three runs across in the top of the seventh to send the game to extras.
