CONWAY, S.C. - Georgia State lost 6-3 in Game 2 of this weekend's three-game Sun Belt Conference series at Coastal Carolina Saturday in Conway.
The Panthers scored three runs on six hits and one error by Coastal Carolina. The Chanticleers scored six runs on five hits and no GSU errors. CCU took advantage of six walks issued by the GSU pitching staff.
Cailtin Ray and Skylar Mosel each picked up an RBI for the Panthers. Alyssa Ward was 1-for-2 at the plate with two runs scored.
CCU's big inning came in the fourth when Courtney Dean hit a three-run homer to build CCU's advantage.
