MIAMI- Georgia State beach volleyball went 2-0 to start the FIU Surf N’ Turf tournament in South Beach, Florida. The Panthers defeated Tulane 4-1 in the early afternoon and bested TCU 3-2 in the twilight.
The early session saw GSU win a thrilling match over conference rival, Tulane. Tiffany Creamer and Brooke Weiner would give State a 1-0 lead after winning their sixth straight two-set decision by a count of 21-14, 21-10.
