ATLANTA-Troy used a late run and came away with an 84-78 win to end Georgia State's 15-game home court winning streak on Saturday afternoon at the GSU Sports Arena.
Troy (9-15, 5-8 Sun Belt) trailed by five with 3:37 to play before using an 8-0 run to take a 79-76 lead with just 35 seconds to play. Georgia State (15-8, 8-4 Sun Belt) had a chance to take the lead with four seconds remaining, but a Justin Roberts jumper was just off the mark.
Georgia State's 15-game home court winning streak was tied for the third-longest in program history and was tied for the 10th-longest in the country entering the day.
