ATLANTA -- Georgia State fell 42-14 to No. 23 James Madison Saturday afternoon at Center Parc Stadium.
The Dukes won their 12th straight game and improved to 9-0 on the year and 6-0 in Sun Belt Conference play, while the Panthers fell to 6-3 overall, 3-3 in the Sun Belt.
"James Madison deserves all the credit; that is a really good football team. They came in here undefeated, best defense in the league and all that; you would have thought we would have doggone showed up to the party to fight this team. We fought for a little bit, but we didn't fight for four quarters," head coach Shawn Elliott said.
