CONWAY, S.C.-Playing without two key players, Georgia State could not overcome Coastal Carolina's size advantage in an 81-69 loss to the Chanticleers at the HTC Center on Friday night.
Georgia State (6-2, 0-1 Sun Belt) saw its four-game winning streak snapped after putting together the best non-conference winning percentage in program history. The Panthers were playing without the services of redshirt-junior Eliel Nsoseme and sophomore JoJo Toppin and got outrebounded 52-35 while shooting just 34.4 percent from the floor. Nsoseme is ranked 15th in the country averaging 10.6 rebounds per game.
