ATLANTA -- Georgia State fell 62-61 to Eastern Kentucky on a last-second, half-court shot by Cooper Robb in the first game of the Capitol Classic presented by Legacy at the GSU Convocation Center.
Dwon Odom led the Panthers with 16 points and eight rebounds. Brenden Tucker added 12 points, and Ja'Heim Hudson contributed nine points and nine rebounds. Kalik Brooks scored a career-high eight points off the bench.
The Panthers (2-2) led the entire second half until EKU took a 56-55 lead with 3:07 to play. But Georgia State quickly responded with six straight points.
