ATLANTA - Georgia State's softball team struggled to get the bats going Wednesday as Kennesaw State won 9-0 in five innings at the Bob Heck Softball Complex.
Kennesaw State used three home runs, including two three-run homers, to defeat the Panthers.
Georgia State's Remington Hasty went 2-for-2 at the plate but was stranded on base both times.
The Panthers begin conference play this weekend at Coastal Carolina.
