ATHENS -- Georgia State fell to No. 5 Georgia 11-1 Tuesday evening at Foley Field.
On a designated staff day, Georgia State (7-14) used a different pitcher each inning. Starter Tyler Koch retired the Bulldogs in order in the first innning. But the ensuing Panther pitchers struggled with control, issuing 11 walks and hitting three batters. The Bulldogs (19-2), who won their 10th straight, totalled seven hits in the game.
Terrell Frazier drove in the Panthers' lone run in the eighth inning with a sacrifice fly that scored Jackson Sisk, who led off with a single.
