BOONE, N.C. -- Georgia State was defeated 65-37 Thursday evening at Appalachian State at Holmes Convocation Center.
Shaq Miller-McCray totaled nine rebounds and five blocks and Taylor Hosendove finished with a team-high 10 points with seven rebounds.
The Panthers forced 18 turnovers, but committed 22 themselves and the Mountaineers were able to capitalize off GSU's mistakes with 22 points off those turnovers. Appalachian State also won using the offensive boards, posting 16 second chance points compared to GSU's three.
