KENNESAW, Ga. – Georgia State’s softball team was defeated in six innings Wednesday at Kennesaw State.
The Panthers managed six hits and held the Owls to nine hits, but the Panthers stranded seven baserunners and were unable to bring any runs home.
Brenna Skalski, Reagan Morgan, Ivie Drake, Kirsten McMonigle, Skylar Mosel and Kristin Hawkins all recorded hits in the contest, but Kennesaw State’s Alley Cutting worked around the hitters to shutout the Panthers.
The Owls used a big first inning and didn’t turn back, scoring one in the third and three in the sixth to defeat the Panthers 8-0 in six innings.
